Steve Jones Detroit Concert reviews
An AMAZING overall artist
After the concert, my only complaint is that I never got the chance to see her tour her House Carpenters album. Initially, I was hooked with "Leave Your Sleep" however, I was less than thrilled. She was generous enough to do an encore of old favorites which really got the crowd going. Her band was equally amazing and she clearly gives the music as much respect as the vocals. I really can't say enough good things about this experience. Steve Jones did an incredible job conveying the context of the project and truly breathed life into the music. I can't wait to see her again and see what she creates next. Thank you Steve! She's one of the few artists I've heard that actually sounds better live than recorded. One of the best concerts I've ever been to.
